Pumpkin Cheese Pancakes✨ for babies over 8 months old & toddlers

Ingredients

  • 100g pumpkin (peeled, diced, and cooked)
  • 40g cake flour (or low-gluten flour)
  • Cheese (shredded, as desired)
  • White sesame seeds (optional, to sprinkle) Instructions:
  • Prepare the Pumpkin:

    • Steam or boil the diced pumpkin until soft, then drain and mash it into a smooth puree.
  • Mix the Dough:

    • In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree and cake flour. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  • Shape the Pancakes:

    • Lightly oil your hands. Take a small amount of the pumpkin dough and flatten it in your palm.
    • Add a small amount of shredded cheese to the center of the pumpkin dough.
    • Carefully fold the edges over the cheese, sealing it inside, and gently roll it into a ball. Press it down to form a small, round pancake.
  • Cook the Pancakes:

    • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. You may add a little oil if desired.
    • Place the pancakes in the skillet and sprinkle with white sesame seeds (optional).
    • Cook each side for about 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve Warm:

    • Transfer the pancakes to a serving plate. Enjoy these cheesy pumpkin pancakes while warm for the best flavor! These hand-shaped pumpkin cheese pancakes are soft, creamy, and perfect for a quick snack or breakfast!
